Once, there were two patients in the hospital room. One was laying by the window while the other one was on the far side of the window. One day, both men were talking to each other then the one on the other side of the room asked what his friend saw at the window. He then answered that the window was overlooking the park and described what he saw there, from a lovely couple walking hand-in-hand, kids playing small boat on the pond with ducks and swans in it, the view of the building in the city and a parade. The other man on the far side of the window just closed his eyes while his friend was describing the scenery in details. Eventhough he did not hear any sound of the kids, ducks or the parade, he believed in his friend by the window and imagined how nice was the view. It went on for months till that man by the window passed away in peace while he was sleeping on morning. The nurse, who found out about this, felt sad and soon took care of the body. Once it was done, the man who was previously on the other side of the room wanted to switch the bed to the one by the window. The nurse gladly helped him. Surprisingly, when that man tried to look at the window, he soon found out that he only saw nothing but a blank wall. Having known about this, he asked the nurse why his deceased friend said about all  wonderful view outside. The nurse just said that perhaps he only wanted to encourage him.
